While visiting my Grandmother who lives 5hours away, my little mini of 6years took it upon herself to comb my grandmother’s hair each day and make sure my Grandmother had her walking frame ready.
Today at gate 1, at the Qantas terminal in Sydney, I approached a staff member about my mums dementia and asked if they could take good care of her, as she was flying home alone. I was delighted by this amazing women that took notes and made sure my mum was well taken care of. Living with dementia f’n sucks, but having people around her in the community that are kind, patient and supportive makes her world and makes my heart explode with love and kindness.
Today i bought bread, meat, chips and a drink and left it in a bag next to an elderly lying sleeping on the street. I hope he was happily surprised when he woke up … and that he made himself several sandwiches 😁😁
Went to one of my students after school activities!
Instead of putting money into the Salvation Army collection bucket at a shopping centre, I bought the dear old Salvation Army lady a takeaway cappuccino and a melting moment biscuit.
