  1. I hiked a 6.5km section of beach on Discovery Bay in far south west Victoria yesterday. I picked up and carried 2 large garbage bags full of detritus that had been washed up on this remote and beautiful beach and carried it out. Caring for our environment is as important as caring for each other.

  2. Played golf yesterday with a 91 year old lady. Scored, drove the golf cart, told her where her ball landed etc. and then drove her to the cafe for lunch. I believe she appreciated it – but no thank yous given. I think she enjoyed being out on a sunny day regardless of the scorecard. She was among kind friends and in a familiar environment. She was happy. 🙂

  3. I was in the Oncology waiting room today and watched as and older gentleman wheeled his wife into the room and thought about how he could adjust the room so she wouldn’t be in the middle of everyone as we waited. He then jumped up from his seat to make sure her dress wasn’t going to get caught in the wheels of her chair and offered to get her a cup of water.
He was thinking of her and how he could make her life easier.
It was just a beautiful series of kind and caring moments to witness.
