  1. I buy food for a needy family across the street from me each year for Christmas, also give them money on holidays. You see the mother has Parkinson’s Disease and still trying to teach school as well as home school her children at home. She has 4 children 2 daughters, and 2 sons. Both of her sons has Autism, her oldest daughter left home a few years ago, the youngest is only 11 yrs old. She also lost her mother this past March. She has no car and was riding a moped to teach school, but now that’s broke down. A teacher where she teaches picks her up and brings her home for now. I wish I wasn’t on a limited income, as I would send her a secret money order or something each month.

  2. Two people have recently gone out of their way to let me know that the brake light on my car was not working.

  3. Each week when I grocery shop I buy some extra non-perishables for less fortunate people, then put them in the Anglicare basket at our church for collection. After many years it’s become a regular habit. I introduced this to our church and called it “Shop for Jesus” as he said “Whenever you do this for the least of these you do it for me.” THe Anglicare basket is always full.
