For my Birthday in a few days I have asked that no one gives me any gifts. I have asked that they donate to our locate humane society. As of today $355 has been donated in my name. <3
A month ago just at Coles an elderly lady was putting her groceries through the check out and her card wouldn’t work. She started to put them back on the counter for the cashier. I told the cashier that I would pay them. $30 something dollars. You could see by her dress that they probably just get by and I am so blessed to have a great job to support my family. She thanked me and asked how she could get the money to me, ‘it’s ok I said you can get mine next time!’ with that she walked away, I sensed her feeling embarrassed. My main aim on that day was to show the young cashier of what you ‘should do,’ and stated to her at any time you are in this situation, please do the same.
I found an elderly gentleman sitting on the ground beside his walker having difficulty tying his shoelaces. I introduced myself, offered help with the laces and drive him 2 suburbs to his destination and made a new friend in the process.
I spent a whole day helping my friend declutter her house.
