I saw Kath speak this week and to say I was inspired was an understatement. The parts of her story about surgery and recovery resonated with me a lot so today I ordered flowers to be delivered to any patient in the surgical ward of a local hospital (that I have visited many times) who the staff feel could use a pick-me-up. I hope they bring a smile to their face in a difficult time for them that is currently amplified due to restricted visitations. Thank you Kath for reminding me about the importance of human connection and kindness during adversity and otherwise.
