I gave blood at an American Red Cross blood drive.
Complimented a co-worker on her boots 🙂
My husband had just been diagnosed with an untreatable terminal condition. I can’t begin to tell you how important it was in those days to have sales staff in all capacities simply say “have a nice day” at the end of a transaction because that simple act of kindness, given to us when so very vulnerable, felt like an enormous hug from a stranger. It’s just a part of customer service and usually lip service but never forget that to someone it may rock their life and be remembered for many years after. Thank you to all those kind random sales staff.
Volunteered for Rise Against Hunger to help package 45,000 meals
I gave my friend a part of my cookie because he didn’t have much food.
