I ordered some makeup and instead of using a coupon to save money or get a free item, I donated 40% of my purchase to animal shelters that are hosting strays affected by the California wildfires. I just wish I could do more!
I was a face painter for kids parties and holidays . I would be working all day with kids all in line with my helper trying to keep the ones in line while waiting their turn. A little girl was hanging around and when I ask her to get in line she told me she didn’t have any money, And she just wanted to watch . I painted until a break in the line and told the little girl i would paint what ever face she wanted! She left very happy and the biggest smile! I never turned away any child because they couldnt afford to pay!

Finishing up the Starbucks transaction for the lady ahead of me so she could run out and save herself from getting a parking ticket. She said, “ I don’t know how to thank you but God Bless” and that was enough for me 🙂
