  1. I knew an old student of mine had been deployed to Kawait. I reaches out to my school for letters, games and treats for her to share with her unit. I sent a Christmas box and a valentine box. The local Girl Scout troops gave me cookies to ship to them.

  2. I heard a woman struggling to breathe in the restroom yesterday and I asked her if she was OK. When she opened the cubicle door she looked as white as a ghost and looked like she was going to collapse. She told me her blood sugars had dropped too low and she struggled to stand. Being a diabetic myself, I supported her while we walked slowly to customer service and I asked them to find her a chair to sit on and to keep an eye on her while I got her something sweet to bring her sugars back up. I asked her what she usually ate when that happened and then went and got her a muffin from Starbucks in the store, which they kindly gave to me for free, and the folks in line were so kind to let me jump the line. Then I did the same with a soda from the concession next door, which they also generously gave me for free. Then I stayed with her while she ate and her sugars came back up, and as she did, the color came back to her face which was so good to see. I then called her friend and asked him to come and pick her up and waited til he arrived. And in talking to her she told me how she had been badly affected by the hurricane and had lost all of her clothes and medical equipment. So I bought her a visa gift card and slipped it in her hand as I say my goodbyes. I also gave her as many healing hugs as I could. I can’t tell you how good it felt to help someone, even if it’s just a small thing. You never know what someone is going through.

  3. So i have 2 special needs children and to make a long story short, one of my daughters was ready to leave the nest, not my choice but we moved her in to a asst living home she has her own home with caregivers. So she came home one weekend last November and she told me that one of her friends has no family, I was like what? She said she has no one so I had to do some investigating and after checking I came to know that she’s wasn’t the only one that has no one that visits or buys her anything for the holidays. So it broke my heart and I told my husband I’m starting a GoFundMe to give all these people a Christmas. We put it on our fb and within a day we got 2500 and gave these people with special needs a Christmas they will never forget. We got mr and mrs clause, super hero’s and princesses, a face painter and about 30 Harley riders shown up to give them gifts, if only you could of seen the happiness on there faces! This is year 2 we’re doung this. I’m very proud of our cause! I’m sorry this was so long ❤️

  4. I went to Tim hortons to surprise my coworkers with coffee. When I arrive at Tim’s there was a long line up, and a few cars lining up to go through the drive through. I let someone ahead of me not thinking anything of it, giving him a wave. So when the man in front of me go to the pickup window he offered to pay for my order not knowing I was picking up coffee for my whole work crew. So when the cashier told him that my order was $27 he simply stated merry Christmas. I want him to know this was greatly appreciated amount a fantastic group of nurses and security staff.

  5. I started my Kindness Revolution after loosing my daughter in 2008. I have made and given away many thousands of pieces of jewelry. Each piece has a card with my daughters picture, a kindness inspiration and a request that they pay the kindness forward. This has saved me, every smile I get, every hug I give, every lifted person….means she is still “here” with me.
