I will have a face time with my parent today and say “I love you” ( to be honest, it is very hard to say it publicly in Chinese culture)
Yesterday was the middle Autumn festival in China (it is about the family union). I missed them and they missed us too!! I made the moon cakes and I wish I can make them together with my parent next year!!

visited elderly gentleman next door, had a chat, exchanged numbers. I think the kindness is more on his part because he brings my bins 🙂
Give the money I’m saving on my power bill to charity
Paid for someone’s petrol last week who had left her debit card at home, which she only realised while she was at the counter to pay as she was dishing out in her wallet for the card. She offered to pay it back to me but seeing she had 2 little kids with her I just wanted to bless her with my act of kindness. Its easy to forget these things especially when you’re a young mum. I have had someone do this to me years ago and I think what I did was just a ripple effect of the kindness I received. Besides she didn’t fill a full tank !
