In one of my annual leave weeks I am taking my elderly mother away for a holiday. I am taking her to the Southern Highlands on Sunday 4th Oct until Friday. She is 88 years old and has hardly left her place for a few years. She walks with a cane and has trouble walking unless I have my arm under hers. It will be a quiet trip for me as I will have to align myself with what she can do. I see us just relaxing and reading and spending time together. I vary rarely get to spend extended time with her. I’m really looking forward our trip together (as long as she doesn’t read very road sign out loud on the drive down)
