  1. I was driving home from the supermarket and I saw a guy who had been carrying shopping and the plastic bag had split. I pulled over and gave him a “bag for life”. He tried to refuse it, saying he only lives up the road but I honestly don’t know how he would’ve managed without a bag! I made sure he took it. He was very thankful.

  2. Made a batch of pumpkin scones using my mum’s recipe for the wonderful staff who care for mum in the Memory Loss Unit at an Aged Care Residence. They were chuffed to have an unexpected freshly baked afternoon tea & it gave a small insight into my mum’s love of baking.

  3. I sent a special heart in the mail to a friend who has lost a very special pet & lives alone

  4. I mentor a young person who started her first full time job this week. On her first day I texted her to wish her all the best, I checked in on her mid week and at the end of the week I’ve sent her another text. Because starting a new job can be scary and overwhelming and it’s comforting to know people who’ve been through it too are thinking about you and empathising!
