At a cafe on Christmas morning I bought a take away glass of bubbles for my husband and I to share under the harbour bridge. An elderly gentleman was there and smiled and said he wished his wife was alive to share one with.
I paid for one for him and told him we would cheers to them. He was so happy, and it made our Christmas so much better!
Every week I buy a muffin for an elderly man who works at the stables. He calls me the muffin lady. I know it makes his day just as much as it makes mine. I see him and he sees me.
