  1. I’ve been struggling at school recently, and a few girls let me hang out with them and didn’t question it, they were very nice and KIND.

  2. Margaret, 79 required a hospital stay and Harry, 83 who suffers from dementia was at home alone. Our small community banded together and a roster was organised for meals for the 5 days and visits for Harry daily. He loved the variety of cuisine and more so the social connection from those that visited. Margaret was comforted knowing that Harry was safe and supported. Truly a kindness act….from a kind community.

  3. After a grass fire beside the runway at Sydney airport our flight to Melbourne was cancelled. A fellow passenger (19 year old girl) was anlone and visibly upset. I bought some water, sat on the floor of the terminal and helped her do some breathing to calm down. Then asked what the biggest problem we had to solve was. There were no available flights till the next day, she had no money left (was on her way home from a trip to America) and nowhere to stay in Sydney for the night. I got $200 out of the ATM and found a bed at the youth hostel. She was so relieved that she had money for food and train fares and a safe bed for the night.
