People that helps other people in need is pay it forward
I was at walmart and helped a elder man, to get to his car with his groceries, then helped him put it in his car.He was in his late 70 and it broke my heart. He was very thankful and I was so happy to have helped him. I hope more people are kind to elders.Because we will all be old one day. And I can only hope that more people think the way I do.
My best friend lost her battle with cancer this year. I spent 80+ hours creating a video of her in memorial for her friends and family that they can watch forever.
I encourage my staff every day how great they are and how much they mean to me. It’s the little acknowledgments that make you feel good.
My friends and I have started Community Chest of Indiana, a non profit in training. In the past 2 years, we have fed over 100 families in our community. We set up a Facebook, Boone County Community Chest, that puts community members that need any assistance with those in the community willing to help. Last Christmas we gave toys to 185 children that otherwise would have gone without. This Christmas we have 265 signed up as well as almost 100 families needing Christmas dinner. Our hope is to spread through Indiana, county by county. No one should be ashamed or bullied to ask for help. No child should go hungry. Maybe someday you will see us in every state, putting the “unity” back in communiy!
