A woman was at the checkout with her 3 children just before Halloween. The debit card she was using did not work, so I paid for her items. She asked me my name and I said Valerie, she asked if she could pay me back, but I said no. I said if she wanted, she could donate that money to the charity of her choice, or pay it forward in a way she saw fit.
I organized a Salvation Army Angel gift drive at my company. We are sponsoring 40 children, getting them much needed clothing and toys. I overwhelmed at the generosity of people. #onesmallact #thanksamillion

Anytime I go through the line at Starbucks I always pay for the person behind me and ask the person at the drive thru to give them a note that I write usually just telling them that they are amazing and to have a great day!
