Father in law was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in July, have been making him homemade vegetable soup every 4-5 days, he has lost 50 pounds! No longer on insulin!
Bought a bag full of groceries (good, organic healthy canned food!) for the local Boy Scout troupe’s “Scouting for Hunger” food drive.
My 83 year old mum lives by herself and is on oxygen pretty much 24/7. Just before Christmas the postie delivered a parcel to her door and then started delivering all her mail to the door as she ‘noticed you have that breathing thing’. I was so impressed I went on the Australia Post website to compliment her and congratulate her on the wonderful service. Yesterday the postie told my mum the congratulations had been passed on to her and it was the first time anyone had done that. She was so chuffed! I am so grateful for her kindness to my mum.
I am to be apart of Group called Doin it for Drought Affected Kids we are raising funds and making care packs u for enrolled children of The School of the Air. These kids live in some of the most remote places in our beautiful Sunburnt country of Australia.
