I organise for beanies to be sent to RAEY in Africa for the children staying there. There are a wonderful group of knitters who donate their time and money to make the beanies which are very well received by the children. They use the beanies during the day to keep their heads warm and at night as comfort toys.
On my lunchtime I read and chat to the elderly patients in the hospital where I work.
