Adopted a family of three children for Christmas- buying each child an outfit, undergarments, and a few toys from their wish lists. I’m happy that our family can make their holiday a bit brighter.

I was on the bus on my way to work and two foreign tourists were asking the bus driver how to get to the subway, but he wasn’t sure exactly. I told them I’d show them, and when we got off I walked them to the subway station even though I was already late to work and it wasn’t in the direction of my office. They were so thankful, and we had a short but wonderful conversation. I’ve traveled alone and have been the recipient of such simple acts of kindness too many times to count, so I’m grateful to have been able to help.

My daughter and I were out to lunch. We noticed a woman who was very pregnant. She was dining with her family which confessed of 3 small children. We were supposed to go out shopping after lunch. My daughter who is 12 and decided instead of shopping for something extra that we could do with out we decided we would rather treat the family to lunch as a blessing to them and the baby that is arriving very soon. They were very appreciative!?

On my way to an appointment I noticed a homeless man with a sign simply asking for a smile or perhaps a cup of tea. So after my appointment I brought him back a big cup of tea. It’s getting pretty cold in London and everyone should be able to warm up with a hot drink!
