I was getting a coffee in Bermagui and ended up volunteering in the Bermagui bush fire relief centre for a week with my mother.
Loading in semi-trailers from a Saturday night till 10.30 pm from good-hearted people wanting to help others in need that lost everything, My week in helping was amazing and gave me great satisfaction knowing I could help others while they were in the worst situation ever.
An Australian Rugby League player stopped and helped me when I had a flat Tyre. He saw me getting the spare Tyre and tools out to change the Tyre. He was very kind and generous. I pass on what he did for me hoping others will learn from it and help someone stop and help change a flat Tyre.
At my daughter’s soccer game last night I found a credit card on the grass. I walked around the field to all the games playing until I found the person it belong to. He was so relieved!
Today i decided to sponsor of a local child’s education through a charity. Is something I have wanted to do for some time, but decided todays the day to give back a little
