I had a customer come in my store the other day. She didn’t have enough money to pay for everything she needed. So I payed for her order. She gave me a big hug and told me she was grateful.
I gave my postie a bottle of whisky for working so hard in the heat over the Christmas period.
Whilst at the petrol station, I saw a lady had no money to pay for her petrol. I paid for her $30 petrol.
One of the young dog trainers at my dog school took the time to talk to me and spend time with my dog. She whispers to my dog that she is her favourite and always makes up both feel special.
I normally buy meal deals (sandwich, snack and drink) for rough sleepers in the place I live in. I always ask if they have had food that day and some of them gladly take up the offer. Some wouldn't because they have been offered food by someone else that day but no matter what their answer is, they are always very appreciative that I ask and say bye with a smile!
