I have a goal where every day, I pick up one piece of litter. Just one. That way, it barely feels like anything, but it adds up to a lot! Small acts really do make a difference, and they do add up. In one year, I pick up hundreds of pieces of litter, that means!

Today I was walking to the mechanic to pick up my car and it was very windy. I was passing an elderly gentleman on his scooter and he suddenly stopped. I got out of his way and as I walked a couple more steps I noticed the man had lost his hat from the wind. I picked up his hat off the ground and took it over to him to save him from having to get off his scooter. 😃
