I threw way trash for my elderly neighbor in a wheelchair and helped another elderly neighbor pack for her move.
I’ve started volunteering for the MIND AUSTRALIA partnerships and linkage service. I’ve been paired with someone who is a carer for someone with a mental illness. I met her for coffee and we are meeting again this Friday. It helps provide her with an opportunity to speak to someone about her son in a conversation free of judgement and stigma.
