I normally buy meal deals (sandwich, snack and drink) for rough sleepers in the place I live in. I always ask if they have had food that day and some of them gladly take up the offer. Some wouldn't because they have been offered food by someone else that day but no matter what their answer is, they are always very appreciative that I ask and say bye with a smile!
