My friend Matilda and I helped get an over-intoxicated and lost girl at a large event in West Hollywood get the help she needed and got her home safe when her phone had died and she didn’t know where she was. Go get ’em, sweet Laura!
Waiting at the deli in Coles today, and I was next in line when another woman also came over, looking flustered and stressed, checking her watch, while the two people in front of us were served. When the lady working there asked who was next, the woman gestured towards me, but I told her it was fine, that she could go next & I was in no hurry. She was very grateful and thanked me twice before she left.
I am a Physiotherapist working in a private sports practice. I will choose one patient per week that I do not charge for their Physiotherapy appointment. Sometimes the financial burden of healthcare can be a lot for some people and I wan’t to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity to access these services. The smile and gratitude on their face when my receptionist tells them is what keeps me going for the day! I truly love my job.
