I once helped an old person enter the bus
An elderly customer had come into the service center worried about their licence and having to do an aged driving test. I wanted to put the customer at ease and assured them that there is always options for them. We discussed those options and they were so relieved and felt less worry for the driving test. We then began to have a normal chat between ourselves and their smile was never missed. As they were leaving they told me thank you, not just for the information but just for having a conversation with them. Sometimes you never know what a person has going on, and a simple conversation can make all the difference.
