  1. I want to share what was done for me. My son is sick and a nebulizer was prescribed and cost us $90. We are a 1 income family, so this is a lot of money to us. My older brother recruited me to help him with editing of his work. And surprised me with $40. This paid for almost half of the nebulizer, which is such a help to us. That meant so much more to me than he knows. It goes deeper than the dollar sign.

  2. Ran into a distressed young man on the street in San Francisco. His phone had run out of battery while he was waiting for his mom to pick him up, only he didn’t have a way to tell her exactly where he was. So we called his mom.

  3. I am actually entering this on behalf on a non-profit that I am involved in, we are gathering donations for our major fundraiser to raise money for arts/art education. The organization is the Nashua Area Artists Assoc (www.NashuaAreaArtistsAssoc.org)

As I am sure you are aware, arts are one of the first budget cuts made, yet as we struggle to survive, the members of this organization are always willing to help out the community. At our annual art show, we try to sponsor a disabled veteran, we welcome the community music school and symphony to come and have an instrument petting zoo, we open our gallery doors to PAL kids, Often we as a group collect food/supplies for organizations that help out pets, military and military K9. This is why I would like to pay it forward and see the members of the NAAA get some help too!

Picture is when we had PAL group in to talk about art-one of our artists makes marrionettes-the kids loved them!
