We caught a dog that had escaped his yard and helped reunite him with his owner
Working with an amazing group of volunteers that meets every bus that comes through our town and gives food, simple medications, books and toys, and comfort to immigrants who are coming through on their way to their destinations. Yesterday I held an exhausted woman’s child and helped her figure out her bus ticket. It felt so good to make a tiny difference in someone’s day.
Bought some pantry items for a food drive in my area for people who will be doing it tough this winter.
