As a school we committed to completing 150 Random Acts of Kindness across our College last term. Our final number of Kindness Acts was 165!!!
I let a grandfather and his 2 grandchildren in front of me to catch a bus.
I have the pleasure of working with some amazing mothers who not only work the 9-5 shift (most times much longer hours) but are the rock, a nurse, taxi, mediator and comforter for their families, husband and children.
Today, was a down day, both mothers felt defeated so… i printed an A3 poster of “Mum, you are a Wonder Woman” and placed it on their desk. This was an initiative to remind them that they are strong, amazing women and are a hero to so many. Yes, even to me a colleague in the workplace!
I invited Jan over for dinner and made him a meal that he requested
