My daughter, 18 years old, has just finished her HSC and we needed to look immediately for her formal dress. We were lucky enough to find one but it needed alterations. We found a dress maker who said she could fix it for her. My daughter and I spent about an hour talking to this lovely lady about her children and grandchildren. It was then time to leave and I went to pay her for the work she had done. I asked “how much” and she said there would be no cost as my daughter was such a beautiful young woman and she was happy to help out. We couldn’t believe it. Such kindness.!!! Needless to say my daughter went back the next day with a lovely bunch of flowers.
I made dinner for my daughter and her husband for tonight and tomorrow, as she is unwell and very busy at work
My friend come home and helped me emotionally to cope with my first daughter bday after separation. She wash tons of plates and make me laugh all day ❤

I told my boss how proud I am that she hasn’t had a cigarette in almost a year. She was very happy to receive acknowledgement of her hard work, it has not been easy for her to stay away from this long term bad habit.
