So proud of Caitlin Judd of Caitlin’s Cookies giving her afternoon and time to bake up her sweet choc chip cookies to donate to the firies! She heard they needed snacks and sweets, so this evening we are off to Port Macquarie to drop them off. We are so grateful for the dedication and spirit of our volunteer firies, along with all of our emergency services! Thinking of all of our friends who are fighting on their properties right now, stay safe, if you can get out, leave! You are welcome at our place. We have food, alcohol, and hugs.
I delivered 4 boxes of donated incontinance pads for the charity I volunteer for called Share the Dignity to a domestic violence women’s shelter
The other day we walked passed a homeless man and gave him some food out of the shopping we had just done. As we walked away and my 8 year old son who had read the mans sign asked if we could give him some money so that he could have a meal later also. I gave him all the money from my wallet and he ran over to the young man and gave him the money. Proud mamma moment.
Visited Kath at the exhibition centre in Melbourne to show my support. I love what she does and everything she stands for so it my was absolute pleasure to be able to help out for an hour or so asking random people what acts of kindness they have witnessed and noting them down in order to help Kath reach her world kindness day goal! Love you Kath – keep up the fantastic work, you’re such an inspiration and it’s people like you who make this world a better place!
