I have a walking trail behind my hose and my neighbor walks by every day. It all started with some sticks i placed that said HI then he wrote back. So I put a chalk board in the woods and we write messages back and forth. He said that it makes his day. He put up american flags along the trees and this made my day. I have also started to put out rocks with kind messages and funny paintings. I notice that the rocks move about the woods. I find this as a wonderful experience.
Bought a $60 voucher for all the amazing staff at my sons daycare to say thank you for their time and commitment in caring for all the children during this trying time of covid 19.
My business, Perspective Financial Services is across the road from a Police Station. There is a coffee shop 2 doors away from the station. Iin light of a terrible tragedy that took the lives of 4 police officers, I put a tab at the coffee shop for the police to have their coffee yesterday. I shared this initiative on Facebook and a friend sent $$ to me to increase the tab for another day. Free coffee to the Prahran Police on 23/24 of April.
Actively decided to use stairs so that senior citizens in our building can use the elevator more flexibly. Kindness for the cause and kindness to my own body.
A man sits outside one of my local shopping centres with his hat out for money. Today I asked him if he’d like anything and he politely requested a banana. I bought him two and we had a chat and he assured me he had somewhere safe to stay tonight. We exchanged names and wished each other a good evening and health & safety at this time.
