  1. Offered to push a man in a wheelchair up a hill. He declined saying that he had practice but really appreciated the offer

  2. My husband bought a shop assistant coffee after a customer was being rude and racist towards her. The customer had made her cry so my husband bought her the coffee to cheer her up and make sure she was ok.

  3. During the Anzac ceremony it began to rain so my son and I gave our umbrellas to the students representing their primary school.

  4. During my late work lunch break (in the staff room), sat only myself & a young 3rd year Student Nurse, R.N (previous A.I.N). As I sat, I began a friendly & casual conversation, to offer encouragement, reassurance & validation.
She freely opened up & as I sat, I ‘Listened’ as she spoke, (comfortably & without feeling judged), about her frustrations, concerns, & general venting,
    We shared common experiences, laughed,
& and Afterwards, she thanked me, for ‘Listening’ and stated she felt better.
It was sad to hear some of her genuine concerns but afterwards we both felt better! I was happy to have been there, to offer support, reassurance, and also just a kind ‘ear’ to ‘Vent’. They all need MORE supportive guidance, individual understanding & encouragement, from fellow nurses! 👩🏼‍🔧💙
