Recently, when returning to my parked car, another car drove past with its muffler dragging on the ground. The driver, an elderly lady, pulled over and looked around the car. I went up to her and pointed out the problem. I told her not to worry, and that I would fix it sufficiently to get her mobile and to a repairer. I then went to my car to get some rope, returned to her car, crawled under it and remounted and secured the muffler. She thanked me and set off to the local service station with a workshop.
I love to put money in coin operated novelty kids rides in shopping malls. It makes me happy to imagine the surprise and joy when a child jumps in for a play and gets a free go.
