I came across a couple in the check out line, he was a Veteran who fought in the Korean war just like my Dad, I assisted he and his wife with getting their groceries checked and then threw my credit card in the device and paid for their groceries. I turned and thanked he and his wife for their service, he stood there stunned and then had tears in his eyes, I gave both of them a hug as we got their groceries in to bags.

Offered to let someone talk to me because they were having a bunch of anxiety issues. I gave them a few ways to try and help calm down and it helped.
