Donated another 270 after breast cancer surgey bags to hospitals around Australia. Total donated to date 18,885
Shared with someone how far they’ve come in a short space of time against significant challenges, acknowledged their contributions and explained how they have helped make a difference.
My neighbour works fifo and is going through a messy divorce, I could see he was struggling as we both rent acreage, I’ve jump the fence quite a few times to fix things on his property. This time his shade sail on his fence fell down so I spent the afternoon putting it back up for him P.s. he doesn’t mind
A huge shout out to Natalie – Natalie didn’t have too, though didn’t think twice today in offering me assistance with something I was struggling with. Natalie reminded me of the simplicity of kindness. I’ll remember to pay it forward this afternoon. Thank you Natalie
In 2014 I was diagnosed with Breast cancer at the age of 34 years old. While in hospital I received a bag for my drain. This was only given to me as a friend had been given it by another lady. After getting this it made such a difference to me in my time of need I was determined to make some for my local hospital. 8 years later and we have donated over 18,000 bags to hospitals all around Australia and the messages we receive from this simple act of Kindness is the best thing you can get to understand you help others in their time of need.
