I was having a coffee and a hot dog at the cafe in IKEA and I saw the staff member at the cafe was by himself and obviously quite flustered as it was very busy. After I finished my hot dog and coffee, I picked up the rubbish that was left on several of the tables, and grabbed a napkin to wipe the tables down. Staff member mouthed thank you to me and gave me a smile.
I bought a staranger a frozen yoghurt when she realised her phone was out of battery and she didn’t have any other way to pay. The store had no chargers. She was reluctant to accept the gift but eventually she did and said she would return the favour to someone else soon. What goes around comes around!
I helped a kid eat a burger
I was vegetarian for a day to help reduce demand on animals and also save mother earth for a day.
At a cafe on Christmas morning I bought a take away glass of bubbles for my husband and I to share under the harbour bridge. An elderly gentleman was there and smiled and said he wished his wife was alive to share one with.
I paid for one for him and told him we would cheers to them. He was so happy, and it made our Christmas so much better!
