Imogen (6 years old) planted and potted 12 tomato plants, set up a stall outside her home and waited for hours until all the plants were sold @$2 each. She has donated all of the money to the local hospital.
When my high school music teacher passed away suddenly, I was heart broken. The man who was more of a father to me than my own father was gone. I have made it my goal to see all of his dreams for me come true. Without his kindness and generosity, I would not be where I am today.
He was the kind of person to stay late after classes ended to help out a student. He would take time out of his day to teach someone to play a song they wanted to learn. He would alway be there with the best hug possible when you were down, and always there to offer advice when you needed someone. He was a true hero in my town, not only through music but through his dedication and passion.
His small acts of kindness changed so many lives in the town I grew up in.
I was trying to buy a ticket to park my car before catching a train to the city. I must have looked totally confused as a young man asked if i needed any help. Oh yes please was my reply. How do i buy a parking ticket? After a couple of question to clarify that i wanted to pay cash he showed me how and went on his way to catch his train. I was so grateful as i made my appointment on time.
