Bought a bunch of flowers for a colleague who had a tough few days.
Cut up a heap of steel fencing and posts and delivered it to the Happy Scrappy for zilch…which I guess did him a favour and as well as myself.

Bought a colleague coffee when given the opportunity.
Overseas delivery of flowers for a friend… just because.
My Dad and I were caring for my Mum full time as she had an aggressive brain cancer. I planned to work one Friday because I needed to source a few things from the city but my head wasn’t focused on work. I parked in Surry hills for 5 minutes, I didn’t buy a ticket and when I returned I had been issued a parking ticket. Already feeling overwhelmed about having found out the day before that Mum only had weeks to live I felt compelled to find the parking officer to explain my situation. As I approached him he asked ‘What’s wrong?’ and I responded ‘Can we talk?’ He said ‘of course’ and immediately removed his Parking attendant vest. He then sat by my side on the gutter and we spoke for over an hour. He was incredibly uplifting and I felt happy and revitalised thanks to his kindness.
