I parked today and a kind gentlemen offered me the remaining hour parking ticket he had. I needed a two hour park so thanked him and gave it to the person who parked next to me. X he was kind to offer.
An elderly gentleman was short some small change at the supermarket check-out. He was getting a little confused about how much he had to pay…..I happily threw in the difference 🙂
Yesterday when I was out with my son when he was riding his bike, everyone (Most elderly people) stopped and wanted to talk and tell him how nice his bike was, his hat, his helmet….And also squeeze his cheeks. Normally I would try and leave the situation..but this time I just stayed and reflected on how much that probably meant for them. Maybe they don’t have children or grandchildren or they live far away…so if we could make someone smile by doing that, we don’t leave, we stay with them. 🙂
