Today I am driving round collecting toiletries to put in handbags for women going through a tough time, this is with my charity share the dignity.
Collected essential items for its in the bag, hoping to have enough to help two women out this year.
I have been making up bags for Share the Dignity for the last 3 christmas which distribute to women in shelters
At the beginning of 2019 I set myself a goal to make 12 teenager bags for the wonderful Australian charity Share the Dignity. This charity provides sanitary items to homeless and disadvantaged women and girls. Every year at Christmas they have an in the bag drive. Bags are filled with essential items and are donated to be distributed.
As a part of my goal I wanted every bag to have a beautiful bottle of perfume! I shared my goal on Facebook with my friends and I was blown away by the response! I was given boxes of items to be added to the bags.
I am so proud to say that I exceeded my goal and made 13 bags. All put together with love and pride!

when woolies had the share the dignity drive boxes for sanitary products whenever I went shopping I bought a couple of products and placed in the box.
At the moment I’m putting together backpacks for teenage girls, let me tell you I’ve a ball at Kmart and other places buying girlie stuff as I have two boys 19 and 21 so never got to do the girl thing.
