  1. Last weekend I met an elderly lady in my local supermarket who needed some paper towel. We checked & there was none so after leaving the supermarket we chatted on our walk back to our cars. We exchanged names & said goodbye. When l was putting my groceries in my car l realised that l had some paper towel that l’d bought to take into work weeks before but had forgotten. I don’t like being forgetful but this time l didn’t mind at all. I must have been a funny sight running through the carpark calling her name until l found her! She was delighted when l passed it to her & said she would think of me every time she used it. I know that l got more out of giving that roll of paper towel than l have giving any amount of gifts over the years.

  2. I always get stuck holding the door for people because I don’t like shutting it in someone’s face. I don’t mind though. I’d rather hold it and take a bit longer to get somewhere than have it close on someone

  3. I sponsor a little boy in the Tibetan Children’s Village (Dharamsala, India) so he can grow up knowing his native language and the truthful history of his country.
