A year 7 student at my school had dropped their books so I went and helped them carry them to their next classroom
Will buy a stranger a coffee on Friday
Someone we love was feeling down and going through some things.
There’s nothing like being spoilt or being seen, heard and understood to pick you up
Yesterday we took her shopping and bought her a few things that she’s always wanted , cooked for her and let her know she is loved and appreciated
Helping my sister in law move house. She is pregnant and her partner has just had an operation on his leg.
This afternoon I ventured to the store to buy a new employee some flowers for her birthday. I was in line waiting, and an older gentleman at checkout looked at the flowers and said to the checker, "Wednesday is World Kindness Day! I want to pay for her flowers." The checker looks at me and says, "here you go, have a good day." I was shocked and didn't know what was going on, but WOW! What a thoughtful and random act of kindness. It touched me so. A stranger, who doesn't know me, doesn't know or care about my religion, ethnicity, political views, nothing, paid for my flowers. As I exited the store, I saw a Veteran seeking donations for their nonprofit, and I donated to their cause. (I would have anyway) I found the man in the parking lot and thanked him again. He told me about the Kindness Factory that was started by a friend of his family in Australia. I dropped off the flowers at the office and shared the special story of the flowers with the employee.
