World Kindness Day

A Global Celebration

World Kindness Day is observed internationally on 13 November, recognizing the power of kindness. Introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a coalition of nations’ kindness NGOs, today it is observed across many countries, including Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

A Day of Impact

Every World Kindness Day, Kindness Factory activates our global community to show the lasting impact of kindness. From setting world records for acts of kindness to putting on live events and bringing our mission and curriculum to schools, World Kindness Day is an annual milestone and critical part of our Kindness Factory story.

World Kindness Day highlights

Get your kind on

While we believe you should be kind everyday, today is officially World Kindness Day: A global celebration that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to ourselves, and to the world. Help us reach our goal of 10 million acts of kindness by logging your #onesmallact

Putting the kind in human

The Kindness Factory is a not-for-profit that creates educational programs in schools and universities, to help foster a kinder community. And it all starts by logging a small act of kindness — whether that’s calling your mum, helping out at a homeless shelter, or simply being less of a d*ck and more of a legend. Because even the smallest act can make a big difference.

Unleash the power of kind

Kind is good for the body and mind.

  • Enriches everyday life
  • Kindness is contagious
  • Fosters a more positive outlook on life
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Kindness is the opposite of stress
