I called my dad and and told him how much I appreciate him and I really took my time to listen to how he was doing.
I stayed back at work for another hour after office closed just so a colleague could take a Zoom call as he had no other quiet place to go to take the call and there always need to be 2 staff in the building for security reasons.
Preparing three bags for those girls and women who have nothing for Share the Dignity. So they can not only have what they need but feel hope and cared for.
Donated a 'friendship' bench (found on a council clean up) to my sons old preschool – if a child feels sad or alone they sit on the bench and the other children are encouraged to go and invite the person sitting on the bench to play or simply join them for a natter. Next week they are going to paint it rainbow colours 🌈
