There was a guy whose car had broken down at the petrol pump next to me. It was pouring with rain & he was pretty stressed. I offered to give him a jump start & after many failed attempts, we got the car back up & running & he was on his way.

I was in the McDonalds drive thru and I let another car go ahead of me. She had kids in the car and I was by myself so time didn't wasn't an issue for me.
When I got to the window to pay the cashier said "Your order was 1 snack wrap and 1 regular frappe. I went to get my card out to pay and was advised my order has been paid for by the car in front of me.
I was totally shocked. I drove forward a little bit and the car in front was still waiting for their order. I got out of the car and thanked the lady. She said that's ok and you have a great day, If there was a car behind me I would have done the same. Instead the following day I paid for someone to have a coffee and cake.
I felt very proud to be Australian and was very happy this total stranger showed me kindness. My day improved immensely and I kept smiling for the rest of the day.
One act of kindness from a stranger can really make a difference to someone's life.
